Ninety7GSX:
youre welcome to use my logger when I get it.

I wish I had a way to record my boost the way that I can record EGT's. Anyone heard of any products that can do that besides a playback type gauge?

I called hahn and their 625cc's are $470. Seems a little steep to me, I may just go with 550's being that they are only $300. What do you guys think? 550's should be plenty for 17psi on 93 octane, right?

you're not going to be disappointed at all with your logger after your first time using it. i couldn't believe the difference in how the car felt after tuning just the first time. i can't imagine trying to tune an afc w/o a logger...shiver...

get some holley 650's if you have access to a lathe, otherwise find a good price on 660's somewhere. trust me, 550's don't last long before it's time to upgrade again.

I'm affraid that with 660's I wont be able to lean out the car enough, Thats why the 625's seem nice. Anyone know someone running 660's with only an AFC to control them? I suppose I could get an AFPR and 660's, but with the cost and hassle of that, I could buy the 625's from Hahn. Any opinions?

I'm pretty sure the general concensus on dsmtalk is that 660s can run with just an safc. You can lean them out enough. Might want to run a quick search on there just to be safe. 550s seem like a waste imo, but they will handle 17psi on a big16g.

I'm not going to lie though, most of the people I see running 660s are using dsmlink or haltech. I'm planning on running some 650s here soon on just the safc.

i just got done researching it on dsm talk, and it seems like 660s work fine with an afc on pump gas, but when you go race gas and need to lean it out a bit, it may not work. I think that I'll end up going for Hahns 625s. That way they ought to be big enough for when i upgrade my turbo again.

You should get some 650's. If you tune it right you won't need to use race gas to cool it down.

Look at these ones they are 400 bucks and are disc and ball style and not the regular single spray hole. They actually spray the fuel in a mist so it disperses alot better. Nice.

Thoose are what I plan on getting when I get the money.

I've seen those before, they seem like nice units, I still cant decide though. I'll figure it out soon. I'll probably end up going with 650 or 660s of some sort. I am going to make some base timing and egt logs before I install the injectors though.

650/660s is the way you will want to go.. much easier to get timing out of the bigger injectors.. plus a lot more room to upgrade.. buying 550s would be a waste of money.

I know Jimmy, he put my clutch in. He also sent me to Glenn who I bought my EGT logger from. Glenn is also installing an EGT logger for Jimmy. Jimmy tunes entirely off of EGT's, according to my research that isnt the most efficient way to tune. He does have a fast GSX though, so whatever works.
