Im pretty sure you all know what i have but i got a 1991 awd tsi auto and my transmision has started acting up when i drive it slow or just regular it drives and shifts fine but if I floor it it red lines without changing gears i dont know what it can be all i can think of i that i may need a new tranny Again or another thing i noticed is that my car has the over drive button and it does not work when i push it could the problem be this? if anyone can help please let me know !!

its your end clutch, and i have a IPT end clutch kit for sale. that is exactly what my laser was doing. when you push the o/d button the car will just rev up.
