Alright well i had a couple of problems in this 195 k eagle talon tsi awd well afther days and days of working on the engine is noow up and running but the question that i have for you guys today is that car is running good but its smoking allot and it does it when i drive it and when i rev it up .......okay does anyone know what can be causing this smoking ???this is the work i did to the engine..

new head gasket
new thermostat plus gasket
new intek manifold ...nicer one
new spark plugs
new exaust manifold gasket
and new timming belt
new power steering belt

can anyone help me please ????????

 

195k miles-engine is worn out.

 

what should i do get a new engine???

 

Could be the seals in the turbo also. If they go bad the oil will bypass them and burn off in your exhaust.

 

piston rings are worn out.
common problem on this make of vehicle with high milage.

 

valve seals common problem in DSM's

 

either the engine or turbo are bad...

replace and upgrade both

 

what kinda smoke is coming out? it could e as simple as youdidnt tourquer the head down enough and there isnt a good seal in the head gasket

 

common on DJ's car maybe.. never seen/heard of it being "common" on any others?

 

do a compression check, and as someone already said, it could be the turbo also
