Alright heres my problem a buddy of mine bought a 97 eclipse GS that had a hole in the block. he needs another motor, this is what were trying to find out (because we know more about hondas and very little about dsm's). what is the difference between a 6 bolt and a 7 bolt besides 1 extra bolt. his car is an auto it has a 420A in it, is there an adapter plate for an auto so a GS-T motor can bolt to it. your feed back would be helpful.

 

You can't put a 4g63T into a 420a chassis without extensive metal work. Buy another 420a and build it if you want boost. If you want to run the 4g63T, sell the RS/GS and buy a GST/GSX.
