Default DSM problems!!! HELP PLEASE!

well a couple weeks ago on the interstate i'm driving in traffic doing around 10-15mph and my car some how just stops accelerating. it decelerates till the engine cuts off. i have spark and all electrical parts still work. i got it towed to the dealership and they said that the ecu was bad. well after that i have tried 2 different ecu's and neither of them have fixed the problem. anyone know what could be wrong? any dsm guys around here ( newport news) wanna come take a look and give me hint? any help will be deeply appreciated.

Does it try to turn over at all? Bad starter? Shorted out somewhere. You said all the electrical parts still work, so what isn't working exactly?

unhook your fuel line to see if its getting fuel.If not you got a clogged filter. My dsm did the same. But I ended up replacing the motor.Give that a try and let us know what happens

does it have compression?? Sounds like it could have overheated and warped enough to not be able to combust.

Why not try the ecu in someone elses car to make sure it is bad first?

rebuilt the ecu. still not starting. battery, starter, everything seems fine. all fuses are fine. the car is getting fuel also. i pulled off the line to the fuel filter and checked so thats ok. i guess it wouldn't hurt to check the plugs but how the hell could it just die while i'm driving? I'm lost guys. I am stuck!
