As far as the topic of wires go, yes SOME of the higher dollar brands will deliver more of the original voltage sent by the coil.

In all wires your going to encounter some resistance. Depends on the metals used, lenghth of cable, and cable diameter. Most of the higher dollar will be larger diamter, and have more shielding to help prevent against engine noise pickup in your electrical system. Slap some shitty (I mean SHITTY, but working) wires on your car, and tune to some low band AM stations. I could drive around listening to my engine rev louder on my stereo than I could from the exhaust. Of course it sounded like a fucking atari game.
