that's what i do when i don't have a condom.

 

just use a bucket and have it shoot into it. i did it with compressor (takes forever) and with just shooting the nut into the bucket (faster), ya its unsafe but if ur not stupid its pretty easy.

 

get spring compressors... the book for my car actually has a decapitation warning

I just undo the nut before lifting the car.
Then I lift it and undo all the other crap.no springs popping. It's a bitch to get the shock off cause it sometimes has to be compressed some to allow it to come out.
Get a jack and a 2x4 lift it a little slide it out and lower the jack.

Boom no spring compressor needed.

This works on my car and I have done it on a few other eclipses. It may or may not work on yours. If you try it be smart about it and don't get hurt.

that wouldn't work on a honda in my opinion. you'd put yourself in a really shitty situation.

 

i just use a impactgun...no spring decompression danger.
