DC2: Taking off A/C belt bad idea?

I was wondering since my a/c already doesnt work (broken low pressure line) would it be okay to take the A/C belt off while its not fixed to free up some hp or is it not even worth it

yea a few,but not enough to tell a difference,go a head take it off.

Your a/c belt isnt going to free up any power. AC compressor doesnt drag any power unless it is turned on.

ditto.....replace the hose.......not having ac sucks donkey balls!

DON'T NEVER EVER........EVER EVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS INTENTIONALLY REMOVE ANY PART OF YOUR A\C...... MINE WAS REMOVED FOR ME BY A TRAILER HITCH BALL AND I THINK BACK TO THAT DAY IN A SWEATY HORROR
