Usually there's a safety wire that your suppose to connect to the parking brake, but if you just connect it strait to ground, it will allow you to have all functions while driving. You'll have to look up your model to see if you need to do anything else to it (like the Pioneer models, you have to open it an connect two electrical points on the circuit board with a wire or a solder pen). It is illegal for the driver to be able to watch a movie while driving.

On the back of the radio, the harness is going to have a wire for the parking brake. The wire is either going to be green (like on a pioneer) or pink (like on a jensen and dual) Jensen has this thing where you have to ground it out for 5 seconds then take it off then ground it out again before it will work. So most people install switches so you can do this. But on a pioneer you just have to take that wire and hook it to the ground wire on the harness. Just be careful, like the other guy said, its illegal to drive in virginia with a video on in the front.

The pioneer is the better choice, in my opinion. You will have to bypass the parking brake a different way though. On the new models you can't just ground it. There is a certain way to wire it. Let me know if you end up getting the unit. I'll go more in depth.

I actually do this kind of work all the time. PM me if you need more info. Glad to help.
