Need help diagnosing no start
So yesterday morning I go out to my car and try to start it.... and it seems to be on strike. I'll go through step by step my troubleshooting process and the symptoms that it has been exibiting thus far.
When I turn the key to the on position I hear the fule pump for two seconds and two clicks from the main relay. I turn the key to the start position and I hear the starter function as normal and the third click from the main relay. The car will not turn on though.
I turned the car from the off to the on position a few times and then took out a spark plug, the plug was wet and smelled of gasoline, so I believe I have fuel running to the cylinders.
I got a friend to turn the car over with a spark plug out and connected to an ignition wire, no spark.
What are my troubleshooting procedures and possible things that could be wrong with it? I havn't replaced my rotor and distributor cap and spark plugs for about 30k miles. Could this be the problem of my out of the blue no start?
I don't keep my car filled up all the way very often and I read somewhere that could cause condensation and water, could this cause a no start?
I do however use lucas injector cleaner with every oil change, so I doubt it has anything to do with the injectors.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Need help diagnosing no start
If it was running when you turned it off last time, it shouldn't be a fuel quality problem. You may have a coil (or distributor) problem though. Check that your fuses are all intact, and check that the coil has power on its input. If this is your Civic, the Helms factory manuals have very good troubleshooting flowcharts for stuff like this. It sounds like the ECU is probably fine if the fuel pump turns on, etc.

Re: Need help diagnosing no start
My car did the same thing 2 weeks ago. Most likely is the coil. I tried the cap and rotor first, failed, then got a coil and success! Plus the coil is a very easy fix and only like 30 bucks.
