Yes sir, you can just drop the Z6 in without a problem, it's still D-series. Wiring up VTEC and the ecu isn't a problem really. If you wanna be ghetto about it for a while, when your getting on it, you can install a switch for vtec, giving the switch power to the vtec solenoid so you can activate VTEC without the ECU. I did it for a lil bit, just make sure to flip the switch off after your done getting on it.
dude you really need to stop telling people that man. It still doesn't give it the proper timing ajustment or the proper fuel.
Ya, i agree, I would never direct wire the vtec. I really don't see the point, if your going to wire vtec like that, might aswell take the extra 10 minutes and do it properly
