Default d series pistons

does anyone know what motor the pm7 and p29 pistons come out of,im trying to put together a very high compression single cam and found that they have the highest Dish/Dome (cc)
which should give me about a 12.3 compression ratio with a d15b7 or b2 block,and im either going to use a d15b,z6,or y8 head,ill have all 3

or would just throwing a y8 head on a rebuilt y7 block be better

I dont know D-Series.

My friends D16Y7 bottom end with the D16z6 head on top was killer quick. It actually had torque.

Faster than his LS motor he had in the car.

He didnt have any issues with it. It was still on a stock ecu. It was very stout for what it was.

It was a bastard motor w/ intake header exhaust.

well i just thought of a good build, but itll have to be on race gas

y7 block,pm7(zc)pistons,y8 head,and a 3 layer headgasket
will yield at 14.3 ratio :0

Static and Dynamic compression come into play.

A all motor D-Series is a waste of time. Why not do a mini-me and boost it?

I'm not knocking you, I'm just saying. Money can be spent else wear.

I had a d15b7 with a d16y8 head with a couple bolt ons and it suprised me for a mini me! Ran a 95 coupe with a stock b16 and he only got me by about a car and a 1/2.
