so i get my s14 sr20det on the road and im driving for about 20-30 min and i come to a light when i get of the highway and i down shift and press the clutch and the car dies while im rolling to a stop....?! and then passed 2,500 rmps the check engine light comes on but i hit the brakes and it turns off and on and off...etc..... ....and is it normal to just be crusing and the boost gauge reads in VAC about 10 and when im just idling about 20-25 vac....it only reads positive when im taking off...with some speed not all tho.... what gives ??

 

This may be something to look into, sounds somewhat similar.

 

sounds like the IACV to me, but check your MAF readings too since its having problems over 2500 rpm.
