Does anyone have trouble shooting ideas for cruise control that is not working. I push cruise control button on and it lights up then go to set and it will not set at all at any speed. I have not yet had the time to look at fuzes or anything just wanted to get some ideas first, plus have not had time to mess with.

 

Depending on what kind of car it is...could be a possible vacuum issue, a bad servo...bad control unit...bunch of things. Tell us year make and model....and maybe we can get somewhere.

Edit: didnt see the 99 civic in the title my bad...ill check some diagrams tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

make sure your not driving one of the cars on Fords list of cars made with faulty cruise controls. Just think, park that new car in the garage. you turned it off but the cruise control never cut off. Next thing you know your car and house shopping the next day. Well your lucky your civic has cruise control, mine deffently doesnt lol. later
