Default clutch problems maybe

i got a sr20 red top. when i step on the gas in a steady movement its normal. when i slam on the gas it red lines really fast and the speed lages to catch up. i think its the clutch but its a new spec stage 3.

if you drop the a gear does it do the same.

yep this is called a slipping clutch, it will get worse and worse, same thing happened to my civic, i replaced the clutch and all was well. Make sure to properly break in your new clutch by normal city driving under 3k rpms for 500 miles.

yea my clutch does the same, which is why i'm replacing it.
