Default Civic problems..HELP!!

Can somebody please tell me why my car keeps shutting off on me? It will start up with no problem at first and then it will cut right back off. And sometimes it will stay on for a while, but then it shuts right back off. I need some help. If nobody knows, I'll just have to ask a mechanic and see what he thinks. I've asked several people, and none of them know for sure why my car is doing this. They say the "fuel pump regulator" or something.

I've found that vehicles with security systems have that as an anti theft feature. Is the vehicle equipt?

No my car dont have a security system in it any more. The person before me USE to have one, but they took it out for some reason. Maybe that could be the case? but i seriously doubt it because ive been driving it for almost a year now and its just starting to act up.

you could always check the fuel filter.......when the car sits all the sediment will "settle" to the bottom and then after the car gets running then all that shit clogs it up.......just a suggestion
