Change motor from obd1 to obd2
What all do I need to change for my obd2 harness out of my si to work with a obd1 motor. The guy that had the car change the iat sensor and the injector clips over to a obd1. So the rest of my harness is still obd2 I really don't wantto have to do alot of wiring so if some one could let me know I would be very thankful so I can get my lsvtec in and ready to go

you need to clarify. In your first post you said all he changed was the injector clips and iat.. than said the rest of your harness is still obd1. if your harness came out of an obd2 si, than your harness is still obd2. if i remember right, the only difference in obd2 and obd1 is, injectors, seconday 02,distributor, and of course the plug in on the ecu, and depending on what model you have, the iac valve and iat sensor.
You need to clarify what your saying
What car is this in, what motor are you trying to use, is there a problem and why are you changing it ?

the lsvtec that I'm get is all setup as a obd1 and I got my 00 si without motor trans and ecu but the harness was still in the car so need to figure out how to get it all wired up

I gotta obd1 engine in my car running an obd2 wire harness.....get the jumper harness and its just plug and play.....if you need help call 757-241-0260 shawn...

I have a OBD1 Harneness for LS/v that was in my SI, I just swapped a B16 in and would like the stock harness lol.
