Ok i just swaped in an obd1 B16 in my crx and my car is not starting it was turning over and that is all that it was doing my check engine light wont go off either. At first it wasnt turning over then i changed the location of the ground and it started to turn over but now it isnt even turning over anymore any help would be very appreciated.

check your grounds then check your fuses once you do that then go ahead and reset the ecu if it doesnt start then you my need a new starter from doin all that umm then check the dizzy

 

i have already checked grounds and fuses might be the main relay but ill mess with it before i leave town in the morning thanks for the help

 

Make sure the grounds are CLEAN, not just connected. If you have a solid CEL, you most likely have a problem with the power/ground to the ECU, or a problem with the ECU itself. If just swapped in an OBD0 PW0 or PR3, I'm pretty sure the connector pinout is different than your stock pinout, even though the conenctors are the same, so that may be an issue also.

Long blinks= 10, and short blinks =1. Count them and post them or I will PM you CEL list for honda if you like.

 

ok im not getting any spark but i am getting fuel and how would i check the codes the check engine light? but it is only blinking once if it is there

 

no spark... check the ignition coil or the sending unit
