Default car not starting

motor d16z6- just rebuilt built for turbo 95 civic. delivery driver and need it fix and cant figure it out....

***update-ok so the pin on the cam gear was broken so the cam wasnt spinning just the gear. and i guess the tensioner bolt is stripped because i cant tighten it anymore? and i must have bent a valve when it jumped timing. so does any one know how to redrill or put thread in that hole where the tensioner is? cuz the block part is stripped not the bolt

ok so i just put a new motor in about 2 weeks ago and it has about 600 miles on it. i am not getting spark but my distributor and wires and plug are fine. i put my dizzy and wires on my cousins car and they worked like a charm. when i put the motor in the timing was off and tensioner was loose and it jumped timing and wouldnt work but the timing is set now and it is or should be perfect. its not my ecu we tried my cousins and it didnt start still.i am a delivery driver for papa johns and cant work until its fixed so i really need it fixed..

Cliff notes. d16z6 just rebuilt. not getting spark but the dizzy, wires and timing are good.

CPS doesn't exist in that location on an OBD1 engine. Actually, it doesn't exist on any of that family of Honda engines. The lower sensor by the oil pump only exists on the OBD2 engines, and is actually the crank fluctuation sensor, not the crank position sensor. They're functionally similar sensors, but have completely different purposes on the Honda engines.

If the distributor has already been tested, check that all of the other sensors are plugged in, that none of crimp pins have been shoved out of the back of the connectors, and that all of the grounds are connected to the block.

Have you checked that you're getting fuel from the fuel injectors? Basically, have you verified that the only problem is that the coil isn't outputting anything?

main realy should be fine if your getting fuel could possiably be your ignition switch depending on year of the car honda had a recall on them cus the contacts go bad its a safty issue it will be covered lifetime disconect the plug to the dizzy and use a test light and see if your getting power to ther and power at the small wire on the starter when you try to start it . if all that is good then i would say to check the coil in the distributer or the igniter if you replace one then replace the other they like to go bad in pairs . propper spark plug gap , make sure your pgmfi fuse is good under the hood , if the motor turns over then get some one to start it while you spray throttle cleaner in the intake if it trys to start you have a fuel issue if not then 80% prob. your ignition unles you bent valves when you jumped timming that can cause it not to run depending on how bad. do a compression test and a leak down test and se wut the readings are across the board . didnt mean for this to be this long but you didnt give a lot of info in your post . by the way i work at honda so im not just blowing smoke up your ass
