can i do a Sr20ve swap to my Sr20DE and use the same tranny and wire harness?
I got a 91 sentra se_r wit a Sr20DE motor.. I was wondering if I can use a newer Sr20VE motor like a 97 and still keep my wire harness and ecu and transmission or if I gotta get a jumper harness to convert obs2 to obd1. Or would I be better off getting a 91 Sr20ve and if SL do I gotta change anything?

The tranny should be able to switch over. Everything else will have to be changed

i have a 91 nx(sr20de) i put sr20ve in using same 91 trans an harness jus have to extends some wires i also used all de sensors an distributor jus have to cut off bottom tab on distributor to fit. runs like a champ...get ur ecu reflash asap tho i ordered a tuned ecu my b13 to run the 20v settings for 275
