T-Hybrid#2

Not my car but is a friends.. Has sat for a while and now when you hook the battery up the brake lights stay on ,as if it were pressed down..? My first thought is something in the pedal area.(like the switch is stuck in?) But havent looked at it yet.. Just curious to see what you think here on Vadriven........Any input is greatly appreciated... (sp..lol)

I had this problem a while ago. Theres a little rubber bumper on the brake pedal that depressed the switch turning the tail lights either on or off. I would start there. Good Luck
