ok so im gettin a bypass valve in a couple days, do i have to take out my intake to put it on/ do i just use a hack saw or what?

 

yeap then when file down the edges so their not sharp... then use some nail polish on the pipe cut so it dont rust and if it almiunim(sp?) then it wont oxidize

 

Bypass valve is a pain in the ass for real dude...did a Civic, even from AEM with the whole damn kit we had to hack it. Doesn't matter about the edges really, and it is aluminum I should hope, so you don't have to worry about rusting. Just hack it and go.

 

bypass is a joke.....just do go offroading and you'll be straight.........

 

its allready on the way... but do i have to take out my intake or can i do it in the engine bay, cause it was a pain in the ass, didnt really line up right

just use a bandsaw and it will take 30 seconds, make sure and file it so no aluminum chips go into your intake manifold
