brake master cylinder
how can you tell if one is bad, when i went to get all new brakes on,i mean pads, drums, shoes, the works they brakes still felt mushy so i took it back and they said it was either due to the caliper or brake master cylinder.so again, the question is how can you tell if the brake master cylinder is bad?
changed the brake master cylinder, didnt help,so im assuming its the brake booster(hopefully just something in the filter).has anyone changed one, they look difficult
yes we bleed it good as hell,my friend worked at car masters so he knew the deal, and ran about half a bottle of brake fluid though the whole system,i google it recently and im pretty sure it is my brake booster.Like i said if you have changed one or know how to take one off a little insight would be greatly appreciated
It may be the brake booster, but the brake booster is there only to provide assistance in the amount of foot effort. Non power brakes are usually hard as hell and the amount of pressure applied to the rotors is directly related to the amount of pressure the driver applies. But I could be wrong.
