BOV sounds weird?
well i just installed a HKS SSQV on my '88 RX7 Turbo II...everything's hooked up correctly...but what's weird is that when i'm at full boost and release the throttle, instead of the loud solid "whoosh" it's supposed to make, it seems like it's making a strange "whoop, whoop, whoop" sound instead...im guessing i've got another boost leak somewhere as the vaccum line that attached the BOV to the I/C pipe was cracked, i replaced it and it got a little better...originally the BOV sounded REALLY QUIET, like a faint "KaaAaaH" after i changed the line thats when i got the "whoop x3" and that's at full boost, around 6.5psi (car is almost stock)...im going to check the i/c couplers tomorrow @ work, but any feedback would be great guys thanks...oh cool thing was i was only getting about 5.3psi before i changed that vaccuum line that was cracked...so i gained 1.2psi! woohoo! haha, only mods are metal turbo inlet pipe, high flow filter w/ MAF adapter...other than the SSQV its all stock...pls, anything would help a great deal guys thanks!

haha...well, in any case, i don't think im running enough boost to use this valve (re-check shows my car is only running 5.5psi) it's starting to sound normal, but i found that to get the louder valve to open i'm going to need at least 9 or so psi to open it, o'well, gonna sell it, anybody want it? it's easy to install just uses a 20mm ID hose
