Looking for info from anyone that has seen or heard of an M62 from an E39 being boosted. Specifics welcomed.

As far as I know any turbo set up is going to have to be completely custom. People have been known to twin turbo the stock 4.4 but most of them have said it runs them upwards of 10k. I believe that there is a centrifugal supercharger avaiable for the M62, so that may be your best bet.

 

im sure it has been done but im afraid you may not get a lot of help on here. i may be wrong though?

 

ICS performance makes a supercharger kit for the m62, I believe that they've seen over 400 whp with an intercooled set up. You should check out the bimmerforums FI section to get more info!
