Default Boost controllers?

What are the pro's and cons of boost controllers, curently my car is tuned on 9 pounds, but if i decide to get a boost controller how will my air/fuels deal with the change.

In other words would my motor run rich if i lower the boost since less fuel would be needed?Or is it perfectly safe.

It would be on a manual boost controller, with low boost at 6 and high at 9 :/

should have it tuned on both settings. Having it tuned it will be able to run perfect on both settings.

So i can have it at 6lbs let them do a few pulls on the dyno then up to to 9lbs,and it will run good off the same tune?

NO!! Tune for 9 lbs and you can run 6lbs. Tuning for 9lbs takes more variables into account. Most likely youll just run just a bit rich at 6lbs.

Thats what i was thinking since theres no much difference in boost,im just not trying to wash out my cylinders with fuel.
