blown turbo???

Default blown turbo???

opk well my friend has a lil td05 turbo on his car and there is oil inbetween the down pipe and the actual turbo ..he has no gasket there ..so is it from a blown turbo or is it fron the actual motor it self cuz his motor also burns hella oil ??

There should be a gasket between the turbo and the downpipe, if its a td05-14b, or another dsm turbo, he can get a dsm gasket.

But I'm not saying the turbo isnt blow either.

the only way to tell is take the turbo off and drive for a little while, if it still smokes then its probaly the engine burning oil. if you take the manifold off get a flash light and look into the exhaust ports on the head and see if there is oil all over the valves, if there is its probaly valve seals or piston rings.
