The guy who did this study is no scientist but it can give you a good idea of what you want in an oil.

What oil is best is subjective. It all depends on what quality of the oil is most important to you, which depends in turn on how you drive/treat your car and what it is used for + how often it is used.

I never had a problem using MOBIL1 when I was running 10+ psi on my old turbo D16 engine (stock internals).

 

I use Amsoil.
