Battery Light

I have a 2000 civic si and my battery light came on I have a brand new battery in it that has been in for about a month and the light just came on today any suggestions on what it could be Thanks in advance

thats not a light for ur battery its for ur alternator::: its bad, unplugged, or as major said missing belt

you could have a bad battery. it happened to me on my lexus. the battery had a bad cell and i took it back to napa and got another one. my battery light came on too and thought it was alternator, but it was not. toyota could be different than honda. idk
