B18B and B20 head are the same
No mods to bolt on Non Vtec block
B16 and B18c (1,5,6) are the same
requires mods to bolt on Non Vtec block
The old DOHC D series head will not interchange on any SOHC block (differant bolt pattern)
The B20a5 out of hte old prelude i think is a worthless POS (sorry just my opinion) and i wouldn't even bother messing with that motor.

I loved my 88 lude 2.0 SI with 4ws, but I am sorry the B20 is crap, I considered doing an h22 with the mounts and other things from place racing, but my car had 300k on it and I did not feel like investing the time or money into it. I was very happy to trade it in for my RSX-S.
wow this post si extremely old, I didn't realize this was still floating around on Dragva and was a little surprised to recieve the email, any ways I found that you can mount b-series head on the b20 lude bottom end the only thing you must do is bring the bolt bores on all eight of the outside bolts in by 1/8 of an inch and you have tyo machine those holes closer yourself, then for the center two I believe the offset is about a full half inch altogether this swap was done but it had some difficulties in the beginning for another honda brelude owner, plus he couldn't get the wiring scheme worked out, but then again this was way back in 98-2000, when there was still little info on doing head swaps altogether. Hmm soo many people that are so naive when are you all going to learn that it's becuase of the 95 mm stroke crank that other honda enthusiasts snatch up to put into thier motors, the only thing that really matters is properly blueprinting and BALANCING these motors for the desired rpms that the motor is going to be frequenting. I can sit here and fight vouch for this motor day and night but in the end there are plenty of BPU vtec honda's that I gave a really good run for thier money some I lost some they lost, but in the end the b20 has proven itself.
