b18 question
here's a quick question....
I was surfin and found a brand new b18c5 rebuild kit. Now I have a b18a1 that I'm building and was wondering, yes including the ecu, could I put the b18c5 head on it? I know to build a frankestein you need to drill holes in the block for the oil lines and shit like that.... but what about the type r engine? just wondering... thanks for your valued input

It would work. You have to block the oil feed journal on the head and remove the plug on the distributor side of the head and replace it with a fitting to run your oil line from. You will also have to relocate the dowel pins.

What you're looking to build is an LS/VTEC, no matter which way you look at it.
BlueTeg: Did you do the oil lines and dowel pins yourself, or have a machine shop (such as Abacus?) do it?
