>----B16 repair...HELP!----<
Does anyone have info on how I can fix a stripped main pulley shaft on the crank shaft of a B16? Im just looking for some way(s) to fix this problem…
1) the shaft coming out of the crankshaft that goes into to the belt pulley is stripped and F***ed up, and so is the pulley itself (someone left the key out and it spun inside the pulley till it destroyed itself)
2) can I repair the shaft?
3) can I find a whole B16 crankshaft somewhere, if so the where? About how much?

i may be mistaken but ive never heard of a driveshaft connecting into a pulley on a b16, if someone left the KEY out(crank KEY WAY), i would assume you are referring to the crank pulley and that the crank side that slides into the crank pulley is fucked up. please explain further, from what i am taking your crank pulley and crank are fucked.....
well if it destroyed the shaft on the crank w/ the insert slot for the key way, then your fucked, if you cant get that key way in there correctly you wont be able to keep keep the pulley from destroying itself again and or be able to get the car at TDC reffering to the marks, that key way lines up with the crank pulley which in turns lines up with timing marks. if you cant get that to line up properly and the crank pulley to seat correctly then your kinda screwed but if you can get it to seat you can always fucke with it until timing gets correct.....if the insert for the key way is still there and useable, you might be able to put a key way in there and be ok, but the pulley might not seat correctly because of the lack of circumfrence on the crankshaft. if it hasnt ate through the crankshaft seal on the oil pump then i would try it and see how it works out.
