B16 head question

Default B16 head question
Is there a difference in a first gen b16 head and a 2000 b16 head?. I have both and im just wondering if the cams are different or oil control in either of the heads are better or worse than one another since the cam caps and harware look so cheep on the first gen.

The cams have different profiles, with the first gens being less aggressive than the latters. Other than that, I don't know.

No other "real" differences to make you choose one over the other in my opinion. Both cam profiles suck!

The 1st gen B16A cams were the lowest lift and shortest duration VTEC cams out except for some JDM Automatic VTEC cams. The heas are the same except it has been said that the casting and cast shift on the 1st gens were better than the newer heads. Some head porters prefer the older B16A heads to the newer, but each is different. But there really is no difference between them other than the cheapo looking cam caps.
