DIY. you willl learn more on your own. hell take it to a shop and you will pay at least $400ish. with that amount you can rent a cherry picker and start reading on the web. basic hand tools will help. depends on car and motor type.

closest place in newport news is custom car care off rt. 17 in yorktown. they are pricey but good. there number is 757-591-7500

400 is low for a shop to do it. I know a guy that took his 92 integra to Inline pro to get a price on swapping in a GSR and they wanted 4500 to do it with them providing a swap. I know that they do good work but damn that is high or at least I think that it is.
