After removing the Soundakator from my Mk6 yesterday, I noticed the driver side automatic window isn't quite working. Sometimes it will go down automatically, but it for sure wont go up automatically. Could it have to be something with the VAG-COM options or could the switch have shorted some how. I have searched vw forums and haven't run across this problem yet.

 

From experience with a few vehicles... You can normally reprogram it. Have you checked the troubleshooting in the manual? My mustang did this often.

 

Got it, just unplugged the Window switch and plugged it back in

 

that's gonna be my suggestion to people if I am on life support and flatline, just unplug me and plug me back in.
