the taillights on my 91 hatch quit working today for some reason?

i think its electrical?


anyone have any ideas... the fuses are fine

see if the wires shorted or the insulation wore out in them possibly?

If the wires were shorted the fuse would have blown. Check the fuse with a test light. Make sure it has current on both sides of the fuse. Also do your running lights work and the brake lights don't? If you have NO lights at all, it is probably on the ground side. If you have running lights and no brake lights, check for current on both sides of the brake light switch under the dash, (when the pedal is depressed).
