im in search of a y8 head for my z6 just to see if there is a diff. since my z6 is ticking like a son of a bitch! so ill be back up here to find out any info that we all may need to know!

The arp bolts have a much higher tensile strength than the stock bolts. The reason people upgrade to arp is because the stock bolts will stretch under boost, especially on a SOHC if you are running too much timing. It will cause leakage into your coolant passages under boost, which will pressurize the system and force coolant out into the reservoir and cause severe overheating... It is called head lift.
