another question..

Default another question..

my 91 b16 crx is have a rough time starting up..it takes a few seconds to start up and when it does it acts like it wants to cut right off.. i just solved my idle problem and now the rough start happened.any ideas on what it can be..spark plugs, battery

Could be The IAC valve located on the rear of the intake manifold near the firewall. It is two 12mm bolts, un-plug, un-bolt and clean it then try to start your car again in the morning when it is cold. Some say it could be a TPS sensor as well..

it is not the iac. Dont think the iac will cause the car to have a hard time starting. Almost sounds like a vavle adjustment was done and the valves are too tight. When I did mine, I adjusted them to tight and the car did the same thing. Is this something new, or did it always do this?

Alright, Well I just thought about that because My old CRX had a hard time starting because of the IAC on my old D16y8.
