my friends car was just doing that 2 days ago.... i tried numerous things... finally, i was restin my hand on the rca cables while screwin in a terminal and the sub came on, so we replaced his rca cables and the shit works like a champ.... if u know your cables are good, and you still have no sound coming out of one channel, the amp is screwed... but when you say you messed with the gain and it did somethin for a second... that is what gets me.... easiest suggestion i give everyone else is to hook your amp up in place of one of your friends amps in thier car, with there wires, and thier speakers... see if everything works, if it does, its your connections somewhere, or bad rca's... if it does the same thing.. get a new amp, or pay the price of a new one to get yours fixed.

ice man where you located i can take a look at it..i work at a sound shop..my house to do all my work and other cars..it souds like an rca cable..

fuck circuit city go to best buy!!!!!!!and that comes from a MECP (mobile electronics certified professional) installer. we do the shit right the first time and dont go and steal it afterwards!!!!!
