if he uses that wire then the amp will only work when the radio is on, as soon as he goes to listen to a cd the antenna will shut off and so will the amp, you should have a remote wire coming off your deck, use that one, it should be blue or blue w/white stripe..........

Default MORE HELP!!!

haha, turns out i WAS using the right wire, i had a bad ground to the amp, thanks guys! One more question tho... i have 2 subs, and the right one doesnt get work unless hooked into the left channel, however, i know the right channel is good cuz the left sub will work w/it. they just dont work at the same time. also depending on whether i turn up the gain, the sub hooked to the left channel will increase in volume, but the other will remain off.... any suggestions?

they are not DVC or bridged at the moment, i just have 2 8 ohm subs on one channel, effectively making the power of one 4 ohm sub.
