Default All Honda tech gurus, please check out this problem.

Alright i just did a mini me conversion. I used an A6 block and a Y8 head. Im using an 88 integra ecu for this swap. The big problem is that cylinder 2 wont fire or it seems to be not firing corectly. Im kind of stuck on it, i have some ideas but i need more input. Feel free to ask questions i will answer them. Thanks for your time

could the ecu be the problem since the integra was a zc non vtec and you have a vtec head on the car now? what about your wiring harness, did you have to add anything to that at all to wire up vtec like on a b series.......i have no idea about mini me conversions so im just tossing ideas out........

its the other way around on the car, it revs fine but idles like shit. firing order is ok, 1-3-4-2, wires are straight.

ill take a look at it for you. if youd like.... not sure what model your car was to begin with but there are some wiring changes that have to be made... probalby tps, or injector wiring is kinda dicked up. then again it could be anything.....

And before you run around in circles too much, make sure the ECU is working properly too, you may have a bad injector output. It's rare, but it happens.. Try a known-good ECU and see if the problem is still there.

do a power balance test to see if your injector is working properly. if your idle drops, everything is fine. if not, you have a bad injector.
