i have a 95 civic coupe and i just installed ac into it and it works like when the car just starts but after like ten min it goes back to hot air.. do i need freon? (spelling?) or are one of my components bad?

I don't see how this can be answered with the information provided.. im sure you are going to get alot of ... "it could be X"

 

They make gauges to check if you need more refrigerant. Wal-mart has them cheap with a re-fill kit.

 

sorry i dont kno much about ac shit iight i got all the ac shit from a friend condensor evaporator drier compressor and lines. i put the shit from walmart in it yesterday and it worked that night and then today it stopped after about 20 min and now it doesnt work at all anymore.

 

question...do you have the ac condensor fan?

 

yea i have the fan. and it comes on

no i dont kno anyone with one. i used one of those cleaners you spray in and then an air compressor to get the rest out
