I just replaced a transmission in a 99 accord, but its still slamming into gears (excessive shock as honda calls it) so Im leaning towards the shift control solenoid does anybody have one so I can "test" it out or any further help would be appreciated. My multimeter broke so I cant test anysolenoids and my Snap-On dealer is out of town

 

Do you work for a certain shop or dealership? Check for DTC's. Usually when a trans is shifting like that we just replace the trans. And in most cases it falls under the extended trans warranty. How many miles are on the car?

 

I work at home I used to work for a bunch of dealerships...its throwing the automatic transaxle code, I already replaced the transmission..twice the car has 190,000 miles!!
