Default 98 ek shock lca bolts

so i have a 98 ek. i have some megan racing spring that i wanna put on. the only problem i have is that the fact is 96 to 2000 civics are notorious for bolt heads breaking off. to be more specific- the bolts that connects the rear shock to the oem LCA's. my boy just did his eg n one of his bolt head broke off. i dont want this to happen to me cuz this is my only ride to get around.
is there anything i should do to prevent this from happening?? any preps that i should take before i do this?? and if it still breaks off, how could i get them out??
ANY SUGGESTION OR HINT N TIP WOULD BE HELPFULL
thnx

well you could try and spray it for pb blaster for a while... most of the time the bolt gets fused with the bushing inside the LCA. maybe if you could somehow soak it in pb blaster it might come off.honestly man i went through the same shit haha. i actually drove around on mine with the bolt broken off, i would save up and get some new LCA's, it will look better perform better and save you the hassle
my 2 cents

edit- if it does break you'll have to drill out the bolt

spray it w pb blaster, if it breaks off you can use an air chisle to push out the broken bolt. that has always worked for me.

sometimes if you're lucky you can hammer the bolt out. but buying new lca's is the easiest way, even if you just replace the ones with the bolt in them with stock ones

That's an awful lot of work to put a Megan part on your car. You broke a perfectly good quality bolt for nothing.

Happened to me. I ended up having to get it drilled out then buying a new control arm.
