i think b series have more potential for future mods i.e. forced induction than an h series i only say this because i have had both i hear h series motors have really weak ringlands and don't take much boost too well.

stock for stock yea..but the h series stock for stock have torque..something the generic b series lacks.
and the ringlands arent the problem, its the cylinder walls arnt good for boost
