92 mustang brake lights????

Default 92 mustang brake lights????

ive got a 92 mustang lx (4 cyl.) and the tail lights work but when u press the brake none of the brake lights come on. i replaced all 4 bulbs and the fuses (even thow it wasnt blown) dose anyone have any idea on what the problum could be ??? and dose anyone no where on the tranny the speedodmeter plugs in at???

the switch is connected but its kinda hard to see is there any auctal switch or could that peice it connects to be bad??

the switch more-than-likely has a short. either that or you've got to go wire hunting. (good luck)

the speedo gear should be on the driver's side, about at the tailshaft housing.

speedo sensor/gear should be on the driverside, towards the top. near the tailshaft.

k thanks but still the brake lights is there any way to test that connector before wireing hunting or any other soultions

Dude, the switch is like 40 bucks, just replace it..

Make sure you odnt lose the 2 plastic peices on either side or it wont work..
