I have a suggestion, don't ask for any suggestions on this forum. Use the world wide web and do some of your own research and take your $1,000 and make a purchase.

Couldn't agree more. Decide what you want from your car, then research. $1k is a fair amount of coin to drop for something you may not like in the end or that doesn't help you with what you're after.
