92-95 civic suspension
 

Ok, so i have a 94 civic hatch. No interior what so ever fully gutted street car. Im looking for a good full body coilover that will not have bounce but yet be good for a street launch. I dont want bounce i want best ride quality for less then $1000. Any one have any suggestions?

Any decent brand of coilover with proper damping and not excessively high spring rate will be fine, but you really have to define what you mean by "best ride quality". Best handling? Soft comfy ride? High spring rates and poor damping is what you want to avoid, and this is often the combination that you get with the cheap brands. It's very easy to get stiff springs to feel like a racecar, and not have the damping sophistication to properly control them. Believe it or not, you are actually getting something worthwhile for your money when you buy more expensive brands...

Really though, this should be a research project to find out what features and what coilover models best suit your needs based on your budget, and not just "my friend had brand ____ on his Integra, and he seemed to like them"...

I'm just laughing at anyone that wants a good ride in a fully gutted car but can launch on the street.

What he means is "How do I slam my daily driven, gutted street car, for the least amount of money, that will let me do all of the things I want for the least amount of money".

Just remove the suspension completely, doesn't get much cheaper than that.

2 things I am trying to wrap my brain around...

1. What the hell difference does it make for coilovers whether you have interior or not?

2. That will not have bounce BUT yet be good for a street launch.
Sooooo....you need some super badass JDM Ebay specials, probably in the brightest neon color you can find. Don't worry, stock struts will be great.

Don't tell me you have some 15x8 steel wheels with stretch fit tires... or Rota/Drag/XXR in similar sizing. Haha

Buy a set of used ground control coils and buy some new koni's. Best bang for the buck.

If the car is significantly lighter, the natural frequency will go up and the car might be oversprung. Shouldn't become underdamped though. Nothing you can really fix with cheap coilovers.
