i have a 1990 4 door integra and the problem that im having is that the car wont start with the key, but it will start if i hard wire the starter to the starter solenoid. basically the starter solenoid is not gettin any power, any ideas that u have would be great!!! let me know whats up. the car runs fine when started!

Was it a 5spd to begin with? If so then it's probably your starter relay. Also being that you have a DA it's sucks to get at. It's under your dash.

Try your ignition switch.

 

do u think i could get away with a s2000 type push start button?

aight, if its the ignition switch i might do the push button, cuz thats expensive and ill have 2 diff. keys. but if its a relay ill just replace that, thanks.
