On twinturbo.net there is a sticky in the forums that tells you everything you need to know about the NA to TT conversion.

And i believe Mike in Ultraspeed dropped a JDM TT motor into his Z, rather than converting the stock NA motor.

to tell you the truth, ET's aren't of my concern. I've alway's liked 300zx's and i just realized that they were within my range. I've driven in one and they turn really nicely, so if i ever bought one i think i'd use it for autocrossing primarily.

There's plenty of suspension parts available that will help with auto-x-ing. There's brakes that are specifically made for auto-x-ing your Z too. Kuah at www.splparts.com autocrosses his Z.

from experience the things are a pain to work on, the engine bay is super tight and there are so many little things to look out for before you buy one (especially w/ turbos)
clutch replcemnt is also a pain...fun car to drive...kinda like manning a boat if you ask me.

Very true. Every little job becomes an adventure. Your tool collection will increase dramatically if you work on your own car.

ummm, no. It's just like every other high-powered RWD import.

Yeah, compared to a 85-90 hp Honda. What is your idea of a high HP import?
